PERSONAL TRAINING – Is it worth it?

I have always believed that if we want to do something in a given field, we should find a professional who will show us how to do it. Everyone knows the proverb “a wise Pole after a loss”. I avoid it like the plague, because “a prudent person is always insured”. So I will tell you what working with me looks like on the example of the metamorphosis that one of my clients underwent.

See how to practice …

A few months ago, I was approached by Karol who wanted to see what working with a personal trainer looks like and what he can learn from him. He did not hide that he was skeptical, especially since it is a fairly new industry. Besides, a Pole always thinks that he knows everything best. He often tried to exercise without a coach, but it never gave him the results he wanted.

Before we moved on to exercise, we conducted a detailed survey to find out as much as possible about his health, food allergies, past diseases, and eating habits. Karol was weighed, measured and we determined his somatotype. Then we set a goal, selected a solution for the situation and eagerly set off for training. I must admit that motivation is one of the key tasks of a coach, especially at the beginning, when things are hard. Karol also mentioned that food was his Achilles’ heel, so we focused on this aspect and he got some dietary tips on how to eat, what to avoid, how to combine macro- and micronutrients in meals, and then he also received a personalized diet that helped him achieve his goal.

What are the benefits of working with a personal trainer:

– A dose of new knowledge

– Properly selected training

– No monotony

– Greater motivation to train

– Constant monitoring of your progress

– Dietary and supplementation supervision
